Combine an Easter Experience at Hawkwell Farmhouse - B & B Dulverton, Exmoor and enjoy spending a day at a "Quality Exmoor Exhibition". This event is a coming together under one roof of all that is best in Foods, Drinks and Crafts to be found in Greater Exmoor. A blend of crafts and craftsmen and women, whether their craft be food or other materials, are all brought together under one roof in Porlock Village Hall every year at Easter to show to the world the talent that Exmoor has to offer. Visitors are encouraged to taste the food and drink, whilst watching some of the crafts being worked. The nominal charge of 50p entrance is well worth it and the profits contribute to the running of the Porlock Visitor Centre (Children are free).

Exmoor 4 X 4 Jaunt & Challenge Event on 7th 8th & 9th March 2008

This event is set in the glorious Exmoor countryside and uses special off road driving sections. Three vehicles will make a team, to share navigation & achievement The Jaunt has a variety of off road sections of varying difficulty.It is suitable for families, all skill ranges & most types of 4x4. The Challenge is more demanding than the Jaunt. Reasonable skill and a suitable vehicle are necessary. Challenge teams will need at least one winch per team.There are three aims for the event:An enjoyable weekend of 4x4 off road driving – good company, good food & scenic.To raise funds for charity.To support the local economy on Exmoor. Hawkwell Farmhouse has ample secure off road parking.

Due to popular demand, we have decided to offer our valued Guests from April 18th onwards the added luxury of being able to dine at Hawkwell. Our Guests will be able to enjoy a relaxing evening meal served in either our Doomsday Dining Hall or outside on the patio area of the Rear Terrace of Hawkwell gardens, which will be romantically lit with bamboo flame torches. This will enable guests to enjoy the "alfresco ambience" in relaxed comfort sitting watching the flames flickering, whilst sipping a liqueor of your choice followed by coffee and mints.

Taking advantage of our evening meal service should not be missed and pre-booking to reseve your table is essential.
